Title:  Panel Development Specialist

Job Summary
The Panel Development Specialist position is responsible for effectively applying strategic recruiting/marketing processes to communicate information regarding Nexus, our products and opportunities available for medical providers.  Information is shared with an appropriate and mostly pre-screened group of physician contacts.  This position is responsible for initiating a corporate relationship with physicians and allied health professionals, building a rapport, communicating Nexus opportunities and requirements and preparing the potential panel member for the next step, the credentialing process.

 Essential Job Functions

  • Effectively communicate with healthcare professionals who are candidates to become panel members based on pre-screening requirements
  • Actively participate in all functions of the department including lead generation, research, communication tracking, mailing projects and external marketing
  • Utilize prospective and current panel members as lead/referral sources
  • Conduct web research based on state jurisdiction and specialty to cultivate leads
  • Obtain provider information; i.e., board certification(s), licensing information, etc
  • Utilize screening process to isolate and note any potential factors which may disqualify a physician from joining panel
  • Participate in workflow process with follow-up that is essential to achieve success in recruitment efforts
  • Data entry within Nexus’ CRM platform
  • Prepare reports, letters, marketing communication, and other documents using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations as required
  • Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others if appropriate; monitoring progress; problem solving; making adjustments to plans
  • Produce information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
  • Researching and conducting data review to prepare documents for review and presentation
  • Preparation of graphic driven reporting using PowerPoint/Vizio
  • Understands our audience demographics, knowing the nuances and context for each
  • Utilize discretion and confidentiality by keeping operational and/or project information confidential
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales goals established and agreed upon
  • Maintain a professional representation of Nexus at all times.
  • Proactively cultivate and establish the “Nexus” relationship with potential panel members
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally
  • Creative utilization of skills, problem solving, and internet resources to obtain evasive data
  • Effectively work with all employees, clients, partners and vendors (both verbally and in writing.)

 Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred
  • Strong work tenure and proven history of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat and Social Media web platforms
  • Prior sales/recruitment experience preferred
